The hotel room was ok, but really unhappy with the extra charges. They wanted to charge us 2000 dram to borrow an outlet converter when we could walk 10 min to the store and buy one for 400 dram. The food was also super bland. We tried dinner there and was not satisfied. The pizza didn't even have sauce on it. At breakfast the meat, eggs and sauted mushrooms were all cold. I would not recommend as it was not worth the cost.
I love this place. It is absolutely beautiful and after two years in Armenia this is by far the best Armenian food and hands down the best gata I have tried in Armenia. Tigran and Anna are great hosts who make you feel like family. I recommend everyone visit.
The place was great! The rooms were beautifully done, both aesthetically and practically. The only thing I would like to see in the room is an outlet converter so US plugs would work. Dinner was good but not worth the price. Breakfast on the other hand was a feast and it was incredible. Two downsides is that no one spoke English and the place was unfinished, both outside (pathways unfinished) and the restaurant (bar was unfinished and no bar menu).
I love this place. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is kind and helpful and best of all the food is incredible. My favorite is the tolma assortment. If I could get just onion and zucchini tolma everyday I would. Also the house made bread is so fresh and perfect.
