One of the most unpleasant airport experiences we have ever had. While checking in for our flight from tashkent to Kuala Lumpur on 31 May 2026, my travel companion and I politely asked for clarification regarding baggage rules after receiving conflicting information from different staff members. Instead of receiving assistance, we were met with raised voices, threats that we could be blacklisted and have our flight cancelled, and an attempt to take our boarding passes and passports away from us by the ground staff. We were not arguing, shouting, or refusing instructions. We were simply asking questions. As foreign travellers, being threatened with cancellation of our flight was deeply distressing and intimidating. No passenger should have to worry about losing their flight simply because they asked for clarification. The issue was never the baggage policy itself. The issue was the conduct and attitude displayed towards paying passengers. I sincerely hope the airport and airline review CCTV footage from the check-in area and take this matter seriously.
